Robert Downey Jr. has proved himself as one of the irreplaceable actors in MCU. The actor is popularly known to play the character of Tony Stark’s Iron man, and after the Avengers: Endgame, the fans had to bid adieu to him, which definitely wasn’t a pretty affair. However, fans’ demands seem to have finally met, as it is being speculated that Downey might return in Secret War. But, that’s not all, new rumours suggest that there Downey might come back for yet another MCU film. 

According to Freaking Robot, a trusted source of them has informed that Downey is hoping to make a cameo in Spider-Man 4, even if it is a brief one. 

Robert Downey Jr’s Tony Stark is a mentor to Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, and he even left him a part of his legacy - ‘Edith’ following his death. Now, recent reports suggest that the fourth instalment of the Spider-Man movie will begin filming in the latter half of this year, and if Downey’s return is confirmed, then it will be his character’s eleventh appearance in the MCU.
